This New Zealand made ceramic candle has been carefully designed and hand made to communicate the same care and attention that our friends, the bees, give to nature. The form of the candle is unique to Comvita and balances a contemporary design with an organic and natural finish. This product is a perfect extension to our premium Mānuka Honey range and helps to reinforce the importance of health rituals.

Inspired by the colours of nature, our pure New Zealand beeswax has been sourced from our remote hives nestled amongst native forests and open pastures, triple filtered, then blended with our uplifting signature Mānuka honey scent. It has been carefully poured into a ceramic holder designed and handcrafted in collaboration with ceramics artist Gidon Bing.

We believe that living in balance with nature can help the world thrive, and so this beautiful ceramic vessel, that will be presented in contemporary packaging, has been purposefully designed for re-use.

Directions for use

— Estimated burn time up to 35 hours
— Trim wick to 6mm before each lighting
— Burn candles for no longer than 3 hours at a time
— Do not burn candles down to the base
— Never leave

    Bee Propolis - Our PFL difference™

    Honeybees are clever.  They make bee propolis by collecting resin from trees and combine it with beeswax and enzymes to seal and protect the hive. Bee Propolis originates from a plant’s immune system and contains over 300 natural, bioactive compounds, flavonoids and phenolics (potent antioxidants) that work at the cellular level to fight free radicals and support the body’s immune system, naturally.


    What makes us different from others, is our measure of flavonoids (it is the flavonoids that matter when buying bee propolis as these bioactive compounds are what support the immune system – not the amount of propolis or fresh equivalent of propolis consumed).​

    Comvita Olive Leaf Extract is only made from our Fresh-Picked™ leaves on our Australian farms.  We only use fresh leaves in our extracts, rather than dried leaves or reconstituted powders to preserve the quality of the Oleuropein.  Scientific testing shows that liquid Olive Leaf Extracts made directly from fresh leaves have a broader spectrum potency.

    By using fresh leaves – harvested at sunrise, and concentrated before lunch – we avoid drying, damage and decay.  It also means that we are not artificially boosting the compounds in isolation, we retain the balanced combination of antioxidants as found naturally in the original fresh leaf.
